Kroger’s Loyalty Arm Outsources Data Storage

CINCINNATI — DunnhumbyUSA here, a joint venture between Kroger and London-based dunnhumby, will house shopper information within Peak 10’s data center here.

DunnhumbyUSA provides analysis of customer spending patterns and develops loyalty marketing strategies for Kroger, Macy’s and The Home Depot, as well as CPG firms Coca-Cola, General Mills, Kimberly-Clark, PepsiCo and Procter & Gamble.

Peak 10 said it helps businesses “maximize internal resources for customers while keeping their valuable information technology assets close to the business.”

Peak 10 owns and operates data centers in Cincinnati; Atlanta; Raleigh and Charlotte, N.C.; Tampa and Jacksonville, Fla.; Nashville, Tenn.; Louisville, Ky.; and Richmond, Va.
