Lowes Aligns With TV Characters

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Lowes Food Stores linked its kids’ club to the "Danger Rangers," a children’s television show that promotes child safety.

The show features six animal heroes who teach children about safety through example.

“The Lowes Food kids' club has teamed with the Danger Rangers to help make sure kids in our community know how to think smart and live healthy,” Lowes states in promotional materials.

Free membership includes a membership card, "Danger Rangers" wristband, quarterly activity book, monthly e-newsletter, monthly coloring contest for a free "Danger Rangers" DVD, monthly random drawing for a "Danger Rangers" gift back and quarterly drawing for a free birthday cake.

Customers can sign up their children online, at registers or at enrollment kiosks at the customer service counters.

Select in-store signage features a quick response code that customers can scan with their smartphones and view Danger Rangers animated music videos instantly.

“This will allow the children to be entertained while mom or dad does the shopping,” according to Lowes.
