MINNEAPOLIS — Lund Food Holdings here, operators of Lunds and Byerly’s grocery stores, has selected KSS Retail as its provider for price modeling and optimization, which it will use to deal with the bad economy.
Lund will leverage the real-time modeling capabilities of the price optimization software throughout its merchandising organization.
“In the current economic environment, it is more critical than ever to accurately model pricing and promotions that drive consistent consumer value,” said Phil Lombardo, vice president of sales and marketing for Lund, in a statement.
