LUBBOCK, Texas — The holiday season kicks off at Market Street this weekend with its annual "Entertaining Made Easy Expo" featuring holiday appetizers, hors d'oeuvres, entrees and desserts.
Smoked salmon quesadillas, Jalapeno turkey and honey-crusted ham will be among the specialties sampled both days from 11am to 5pm. Complementary wine will be served, and in the Plano and Coppell stores, shoppers can personalize a wine bottle by having a message etched.
"We believe our Market Street stores truly are a one-stop destination for our guests’ entertaining needs," said Wes Jackson, chief merchandising officer for Market Street's parent company, United Supermarkets. "With the holidays just around the corner, this expo gives us the opportunity to showcase how our products and services can help ease the burden of event planning for our guests."
