LUBBOCK, Texas — United Supermarket's Market Street stores in the Dallas-Fort Worth area are offering guests a free turkey with a $100 purchase now through Nov. 25. Market Street customers spending $100 or more during a single visit will receive one coupon for a free Traditions-brand turkey of their choice.
“As wonderful as the holiday season is, it can sometimes be a little stressful, trying to make everything special while being careful about how much you spend. So at Market Street, we thought we’d try to help,” said Dan Sanders, chief executive officer of United Supermarkets, in the company's release. “The free turkey is just one small way we can say ‘thank you’ to our guests and let them know how appreciative we are that they chose Market Street.”
After the in-store purchase exceeds $100, Market Street associates will print a “Free Turkey” coupon at the register and customers can redeem the coupon at the time of purchase or during a subsequent visit. There is no limit to the number of turkeys guests may receive, but all coupons must be redeemed by Nov. 29.
Market Street also encourages shoppers who accumulate multiple turkeys to pass along the holiday spirit and donate their extras to friends, neighbors or local food banks, the release said.
