Marvin’s Adds Shopper Planning to Website

Marvin’s Food Stores, which operates 21 stores in Arkansas, Kansas, and Oklahoma, has enhanced its website with the addition of digital shopper planning technology from Grocery Shopping Network here.

MINNEAPOLIS — Marvin’s Food Stores, which operates 21 stores in Arkansas, Kansas, and Oklahoma, has enhanced its website with the addition of digital shopper planning technology from Grocery Shopping Network here.

This follows on the adoption of the same technology by Marvin’s parent company, CV Family Foods, which operates 14 other stores.

Marvin’s website will include is an interactive weekly circular that displays current sale items and suggests recipe ideas for shoppers. After shoppers create a profile, the website will allow them to input dietary requirements and then select recipes that fall within a dietary profile or match personal preferences. In addition to including shopper recipe ratings and videos, the website will also provides access to a database of printable manufacturer coupons that are updated on a daily basis and can be broken down by department.

“Marvin’s customers will now have access to our store specials online for planning their weekly shopping trips,” said Jim Galloway of Marvin’s. “We see the new website as a way to deliver easy time and money savings to our customers”
