SUNBURY, Pa. — Weis Markets here, which operates 155 stores, yesterday said that Bob Mawyer has joined the company as vice president of information technology. Previously, Mawyer worked as director of information systems at Giant Food in Carlisle, Pa. Prior to joining Giant Food, he was a longtime employee of Giant of Landover, Md. Mawyer has more than 30 years of experience in information technology and information systems, including management roles in database, security and Unix technical systems (hardware and software). He has extensive experience in information technology relating to marketing and merchandising, supply chain and retail in-store management in support of corporate and store applications.
