NEW YORK — Kroger will maintain its credit ratings despite a recent disclosure that profitability and credit metrics will remain weak for the first half of 2010, Moody's Investors Service here said.
Kroger, Cincinnati, earlier this month revealed a big quarterly loss and adjusted its guidance downward for fiscal year.
Moody's last rating action on Kroger was in 2004 when the company's senior unsecured rating was affirmed and P-2 short term rating assigned.
