NASFT Names New Members to Council

The National Association for the Specialty Food Trade here is expected to announce today that three new members have been named to its Buyers’ Circle Advisory Council.

NEW YORK — The National Association for the Specialty Food Trade here is expected to announce today that three new members have been named to its Buyers’ Circle Advisory Council. The three new members are Sabra Coe Young of Taste Unlimited, Virginia Beach, Va.; Rick Vernon of West Point Market, Akron, Ohio; and Cheryl Harrington of The Better Cheddar, Kansas City, Mo. In addition, the following members were re-elected to a two-year term on the council: Evelyn Ignatow of Hyde Park Gourmet Food & Wine, Cincinnati; Tim Manale of A Southern Season, Chapel Hill, N.C.; Sam Mogannam, Bi-Rite Market, San Francisco; and Phil Myers of Central Market, Houston. They join the five continuing members of the council: Maren Ammerman of The Fresh Market, Greensboro, N.C.; Emilio Mignucci of DiBruno Bros., Philadelphia; Scott Silverman of Rice Epicurean, Houston; Linda Sikorski of The Pasta Shop, Oakland, Calif.; and Jack “Trip” Straub of Straub’s, St. Louis.
