JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Maurice Jones-Drew, a running back for the Jacksonville Jaguars NFL team, was introduced yesterday as a new official spokesman for Winn-Dixie Stores here.
The retailer said it would launch new “Fresh-Checked” television commercials and billboards in North Florida and South Georgia featuring Jones-Drew, who will also promote a new deli sandwich available at stores. Jones-Drew told area newspapers that he grew up shopping at Winn-Dixie.
