NGA to Distribute Digital TV Info

ARLINGTON, Va. — The National Grocers Association here said it would partner with the Federal Communications Commission to help distribute the FCC’s Outreach Toolkit containing information about the upcoming switch from analog to digital TV broadcasting.

ARLINGTON, Va. — The National Grocers Association here said it would partner with the Federal Communications Commission to help distribute the FCC’s Outreach Toolkit containing information about the upcoming switch from analog to digital TV broadcasting. Independent supermarkets who are NGA members will be able to download or receive by mail the information in the toolkit. The switch to digital TV takes place Feb. 18. “Independent community-focused retailers have traditionally acted as a portal of information in their communities — stepping up in times of need to reach out to their customers,” said Frank DiPasquale, NGA’s senior vice president.
