Niemann Foods, Strack & Van Til Upgrade Pricing Systems

DALLAS — Retalix here announced that that Niemann Foods, Quincy, Ill., and Strack & Van Til, Highland, Ind., have selected Retalix HQ to replace their legacy pricing systems.

DALLAS — Retalix here announced that that Niemann Foods, Quincy, Ill., and Strack & Van Til, Highland, Ind., have selected Retalix HQ to replace their legacy pricing systems.

The retailers will also utilize two additional Retalix HQ modules — Category Analyzer for item/profit movement analysis and Billback Manager for capturing earned promotional dollars from suppliers.

In addition, Strack & Van Til, which operates 30 stores, will implement Retalix Store to replace its legacy store back-office systems, as well as ePLUM enterprise scale management software, which Retalix resells from Invatron Systems.

Retalix HQ is a centralized, rules-based pricing and inventory management system.

“We needed a new price management system that could give us the automation and efficiency needed to reduce operating costs and maintain our competitive edge,” said Larry Schaffer, director of information technology at Niemann Foods, which operates 36 stores.

“We needed a new price management system with a central repository to better manage our business,” said Dave Wilkinson, president of Strack & Van Til.
