OGA's Jackson Wins NGA Leadership Award

The National Grocers Association said Thomas Jackson, president and chief executive officer of the Ohio Grocers Association, has been named the 2010 recipient of its Association Leadership Award.

ARLINGTON, Va. — The National Grocers Association said Thomas Jackson, president and chief executive officer of the Ohio Grocers Association, has been named the 2010 recipient of its Association Leadership Award.

Jackson has headed the Ohio association for 24 years, following a stint as vice president of industry relations and membership services at NGA.

The NGA award is presented to state association executives for their dedication and commitment to the industry and their work in government and public policy affairs on behalf of the retail and wholesale community.
