Pawlenty Joins Grocery Software Provider Board

ATLANTA — Tim Pawlenty, the former governor of Minnesota who stepped down as a candidate for the Republican presidential nomination in August, has joined the board of directors of RedPrairie here, a technology supplier to the grocery and other industries.

RedPrairie supplies supply chain, workforce, and other retail software systems; its food retailer customers include Publix, Loblaw, Supervalu and Hy-Vee.

"I'm impressed with RedPrairie's visionary strategy," said Pawlenty, in a statement. "RedPrairie is at the forefront of the movement to connect the supply chain and consumers in this rapidly evolving global economy."
