WAKEFIELD, Mass. — The PCI (Payment Card Industry) Security Standards Council here has launched an Internal Security Assessor program for individuals at companies, such as retailers, that need to gain certification for PCI data security compliance.
The three-day course is designed to help participants improve their organization’s understanding of PCI data security standards in order to prepare for a compliance audit or perform a self-assessment.
The program, which starts May 18 in Sydney, Australia, and will be conducted in June, August and September in the U.S., offers participants a one-year certification as an internal security assessor. The program costs $1,495 per person for members of the council, $2,495 for non-members.
