PITTSBURGH — Right By Nature, a natural and organic store here, and delivery partner GoodApples.com, announced the launch of their newly redesigned websites (available via www.rightbynature.net). These sites reflect the expanded services from the recent merger of the companies in March.
Local customers can now order groceries at their convenience online 24/7 and pick up their order with free curbside loading. Personal “shoppers” on staff pack each order and prepare it for pickup during regular market hours or for delivery to corporate partners through Good Apples. On June 21, home delivery will become available within a three-mile radius of the Strip District covering all of downtown, and The Hill districts.
The new Web-based grocery and delivery was described by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette as possibly providing new fresh food options for the Hill District and downtown Pittsburgh. Hill District residents and community groups for years have lobbied for a full-service grocery store in the neighborhood, the paper said.
The sites also include a comprehensive encyclopedia on health and wellness information, an extensive recipe section, a wide range of natural, organic and top-branded mainstream grocery items, as well as fresh produce, health and beauty products, and prepared foods for take-home meals.
“The redesigned websites include our new look and feel, a tenfold expansion of products for our customers to shop online, and a robust recipe and health resource center," said Jason Brown, managing partner of the specialty retail team Concept Development Group, who has been working with local investors and purveyors to expand Right by Nature and Good Apples, in a statement. “The extensive information on diet and fitness and other health concerns is in line with our mission to be a well-rounded partner for healthy living for the employees of the companies we serve.”
