SCHENECTADY, N.Y. — Associates at Price Chopper’s corporate headquarters and warehouse are being invited today to attend the retailer’s own “Live Well/Go Green” Day.
A number of booths have been set up to encourage health and environmental awareness. Representatives from the American Cancer Society and other organizations will be on hand, and Price Chopper’s own pharmacy operation will perform blood pressure and bone density screening. Stations offering chair massages and a Wii fitness tryout will also be part of the event.
In an interesting twist, associates will have the chance to pop water balloons over their bosses’ heads at a pitchburst station, with all proceeds going to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
