PRN, Bon Appétit to Air Content on Retail Network

Thomson’s Premier Retail Networks (PRN) here and Bon Appétit magazine, published by Condé Nast Publications, New York, yesterday announced a programming agreement to produce custom content for display on PRN’s Checkout TV network in supermarkets nationwide.

SAN FRANCISCO — Thomson’s Premier Retail Networks (PRN) here and Bon Appétit magazine, published by Condé Nast Publications, New York, yesterday announced a programming agreement to produce custom content for display on PRN’s Checkout TV network in supermarkets nationwide. The network presents programming on more than 19,000 screens that shoppers can view while they wait in line at supermarket and retail locations, including Acme, Albertsons, Costco, Jewel-Osco, Pathmark, Sam’s Club, Shaw’s, ShopRite, Star Market, and Wal-Mart Stores. In collaboration with Bon Appétit, PRN is producing short-form weekly video segments featuring cooking tips from Bonapétit.com, such as taco parties, easy ice cream desserts and creative salads.
