Publix Division Raises $1.5M for Food For All

MIAMI — Publix Super Markets’ Miami Division raised $1.54 million in its recent holiday Food For All campaign to benefit local and regional non-profit organizations throughout South Florida, Food For All said Tuesday.

MIAMI — Publix Super Markets’ Miami Division raised $1.54 million in its recent holiday Food For All campaign to benefit local and regional non-profit organizations throughout South Florida, Food For All said Tuesday.

The six-week fundraiser appeared in stores from Nov. 14 through Dec. 24. Customers contributed by selecting a $1, $3 and $5 donation coupon at the register. Publix distributed the grants to more than 65 charitable organizations.

“Publix customers and associates continued to show tremendous support for our annual Food For All program in 2010,” said Bill Fauerbach, Publix Miami Division’s vice president of retail operations. “It was a landmark year for our fundraising efforts.”
