Currie detail 320 phone calls from the senator’s home and cell phones to officials with Shoppers Food Warehouse here and its parent Supervalu, reports said. Those records, the Baltimore Sun reported, indicate that federal investigators are looking into possible charges of wire fraud against Currie, who was employed as a consultant for Supervalu’s Shoppers chain but allegedly did not reveal that fact while championing legislation favorable to the retailer.
