NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Retail Orphan Initiative (Retail ROI), a charitable foundation established to help the orphaned and vulnerable children worldwide, announced that it will hold the first-ever RetailROI Super Saturday, a research and networking event, in January, with all proceeds benefiting the Retail ROI.

The event will be held on Jan. 9, 2010, preceding the opening of the National Retail Federation’s annual conference the next day in New York. Retailers, technology/financial research analysts, editors and other influencers will meet at the event to discuss trends, holiday results, and strategies that are shaping the retail industry as the new year begins.

“We’ve gathered many of retail's leading strategic thinkers, CIOs and analysts in a single venue,” said Greg Buzek, founder and president, IHL Group here and co-founder of RetailROI. “There has never been an opportunity to hear from all these top thinkers in a single event, and it's all for the benefit of the Retail Orphan Initiative.”

RetailROI Super Saturday is free for retailers. Current vendor sponsors include Microsoft, Epson, Intel, HP, HL Group, Marriott East Side and C-Core Consulting Group; additional sponsorships are available. More information is available at www.retailroi.org.
