EL SEGUNDO, Calif. — Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Markets here has cut prices on holiday meal components through Dec. 24.
It’s reduced by 50% the prices of its Fresh & Easy Pecan Pie, 26.5 ounces, now $2.99, and Fresh & Easy Cooked Colossal Shrimp, 16 ounces, now $5.99. Other deals include: Idaho Potatoes, 5 pounds, 98 cents; Fresh & Easy Frozen Green Beans, Golden Sweet Corn or Sweet Peas, 16 ounces, 89 cents; and Smoked Bone-In Ham, 99 cents a pound.
“With everyone trying to stretch budgets this holiday season, we are giving even better deals on our high-quality products so our customers don’t have to compromise,” said Simon Uwins, chief marketing officer, for Fresh & Easy, in a statement.
Aldi is also highlighting the prices of its holiday meal ingredients, which it claims are up to 50% less than its competitors’.
The chain is calling attention to: Appleton Spiral Ham, 8 pounds, $1.49; Sea Queen Shrimp Ring with Cocktail Sauce, 16 ounces, $5.99; and Grandessa Signature Apple or Cherry Custard Tart, 44.1 ounces, $6.99.
