SCHENECTADY, N.Y. — With the royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton set to take place Friday in London, Price Chopper Supermarkets here announced a “wedding picture” contest on its Facebook page.
“The world will be watching to see how Will & Kate look at their wedding and we want to see how you looked on your special day!” said the chain. Shoppers are invited to email their wedding photo to [email protected] (one photo per couple). On Friday, winners will be selected at random to receive a $200 Macy's gift card “to dress like royalty” and a $100 Price Chopper gift certificate “to serve only the best in fresh!”
The hype over the royal nuptials is getting to some shoppers. “Enough with the royal wedding already,” wrote one Facebook shopper.
