CALGARY, Alberta — Canada Safeway here on Monday was named as one of the 100 best places to work in Canada in rankings published by the Great Place to Work Institute.
Safeway, which operates 214 stores in Canada, was the only retailer named to the list, which ranks companies based on employee surveys and a review of a company’s culture and human resources practices.
Safeway in a statement cited its team environment, commitment to diversity and training programs as contributing factors.
