LEXINGTON, N.C. — Save-A-Lot last week broke ground for a new distribution center here that the retailer said would speed expansion in the Southeast.
The 325,000-square-foot facility is expected to open in December and represents a $24 million investment, according to the St. Louis-based discounter, a division of Supervalu.
