ST. LOUIS — Schnuck Markets here has acquired two independent supermarkets in Illinois and the lease to a third store, according to reports yesterday. The privately owned chain bought a 60,000-square-foot Hart Food & Drug in O'Fallon and a 26,000-square-foot Park N Shop in Bethalto, both of which will be converted to the Schnucks banner, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported.
