LOUIS — Schnuck Markets here terminated its “Pump Up the Savings” fuel rewards program this week in Memphis, Tenn., because the program failed to meet company expectations of increased basket and cart orders, according to local media reports. Schnucks’ rewards customers through its loyalty card a 10-cent per gallon discount on gas for every $100 purchase at stores.
