MALVERN, Pa. — Acme Markets, a banner of Supervalu, is kicking off its Sizzlin’ Summer Giveaway of cars, boats, vacations, gift cards and two cash grand prizes of $250,000. Customers can win by collecting game pieces earned with qualifying purchases each time they shop. Special game boards will be available so customers can keep track of how close they are to winning a prize. In addition to collect and win prizes, there will be millions of instant prizes and in-store discounts awarded.
“As we launch into the summer season, the Sizzlin’ Summer Giveaway will help us attract new customers, drive sales for our stores and vendor partners while creating a fun atmosphere for everyone,” said Dan Sanders, president of Acme, in a prepared statement.
On May 21, Acme will set up a dedicated greeter table to educate shoppers about the giveaway. In addition, select stores will have special character appearances and a variety of product demonstrations and sampling.
Customers can earn game pieces through August 18, while supplies last.
