SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. — Stater Bros. Markets here on Wednesday said it has promoted Mike Slaton to vice president of real estate. He had been senior director of real estate, a position the company said would be eliminated.
Slaton joined Stater Bros. in 1981 as a store-level courtesy clerk, and in 1984 he moved to the corporate offices as a real estate analyst. He left the company in 1988 to work for a real estate developer and returned in 2008 as director of real estate.
In his new post, he reports to Jim Lee, president and chief operating officer, Stater Bros.
