SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. — Stater Bros. Markets here said yesterday it will award free gas cards worth $200 each to one person at each of its 165 stores every day beginning tomorrow through Aug. 26. According to Jack Brown, chairman and chief executive officer, “For thousands of our customers to win a month of free gas just by doing what they already do is an added bonus.” To qualify, customers who purchase a minimum of $50 in eligible products will receive an entry form, plus one additional entry form for every $25 over the initial $50 purchased during the same transaction, up to five entry forms. The forms can be deposited in a box at the front of each store, with drawings for winners held each morning. The offer, which can only be used at Chevron stations, is also open to people who do not make a purchase, the company said.
