Talks to Continue for Stop & Shop, Unions

Contract talks between Stop & Shop and five unions representing its workers in New England are scheduled to continue this week, the retailer here said.

QUINCY, Mass. — Contract talks between Stop & Shop and five unions representing its workers in New England are scheduled to continue this week, the retailer here said.

The talks continue an extension of contract negotiations between Stop & Shop and United Food and Commercial Workers Locals 328, 371, 919, 1445 and 1459. Their deal has twice been extended since its Feb. 20 expiration.
