Tops Plans Four Store Closures

WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. — Tops has unveiled plans to shutter four of the stores it recently acquired from Penn Traffic, according to local reports on Friday.

WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. — Tops Friendly Markets has unveiled plans to shutter four of the stores it recently acquired from Penn Traffic, according to local reports on Friday.

The locations include one P&C Foods location each in Hornell, N.Y., and Bradford, Vt., which are slated to close March 20 and Feb. 28, respectively, and one BiLo store each in Clarion and Blairsville, Pa., both slated to close March 13.

Frank Curci, chief executive officer, Tops, previously told SN that an undetermined number of the 79 acquired Penn Traffic locations would be closed or sold, but that most would remain open.
