CINCINNATI — Two Kansas convenience stores being built by Kroger here will include drive-in pharmacies co-branded with the Dillons grocery store, officials said.
The Kwik Shop stores, expected to open next spring in the Wichita, Kans., area, are following the lead of a Kroger-owned Tom Thumb c-store in Pensacola, Fla., that added a Kroger-branded pharmacy in 2007. Kroger owns both the Dillons and Kwik Shop banners.
The two Kwik Shops will also be pilot projects for new ready-made meal program, according to a report in the Wichita Eagle newspaper.
