WASHINGTON — The United Food and Commercial Workers union on Friday said it supported the White House Taskforce on Middle Class Working Families, which will be led by Vice President Joe Biden.
The Taskforce, which had been previously announced, was in the spotlight Friday when President Obama reversed some labor-related policies of the previous administration.
Joe Hansen, president of the UFCW, said the union "looks forward to working closely with the task force to develop and implement policies that can, and will, get America’s economic engine back on track."
