MADISON, Wis. — Representatives of the United Food and Commercial Workers Local 1473 here are urging a boycott of Woodman’s Market, issuing pamphlets at Woodman’s stores charging that the retailer had intimidated its union employees. As previously reported in SN, Woodman’s is seeking to decertify the union at five of its stores in response to employee petition. The National Labor Relations Board was considering the petition, local reports this week said.
