Union, Suppliers Appointed to A&P Creditors Committee

The trustee in A&P's Chapter 11 bankruptcy case appointed nine parties to serve on the retailer's official committee of unsecured creditors, including bond trustees, pension and union representatives, and its supplier.

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. — The trustee in A&P's Chapter 11 bankruptcy case on Tuesday appointed nine parties to serve on the retailer's official committee of unsecured creditors, including bond trustees, pension and union representatives, and its supplier. Any reorganization plan would require the approval of the official committee.

The official members, as named by U.S. Trustee Tracy Hope Davis on Tuesday, are bond trustee Wilmington Trust; Pension Benefit Guaranty Corp.; United Food and Commercial Workers Union International; pension administrators Central States Southeast and Southwest Area Pension Fund and 1159SEIU Healthcare Employees Pension Fund; landlord Kimco Realty Corp.; pharmaceutical supplier McKesson Pharmaceutical; grocery supplier C&S Wholesale Grocers and dairy supplier Calip Dairies.
