LUBBOCK, Texas — United Supermarkets here has announced plans to test a new store-in-store concept with Red Mango, offering healthy frozen yogurt and smoothies to United Supermarkets' customers at the company's Judge Ely Boulevard location in Abilene.
"We know frozen yogurt has become a popular family treat, and Red Mango is one of the healthiest in its category," Wes Jackson, chief merchandising officer for United Supermarkets, said in a release. "Both United and Red Mango share a commitment to the health and wellness of our guests, so we feel this is a natural fit."
The Red Mango counter will also serve Arriba! coffee, United's popular house brand.
