Wal-Mart To Convert 2 Albertsons in Texas

FRISCO, Texas — Wal-Mart Stores is planning to convert two former Albertsons stores, one here and one in Flower Mound, to its Neighborhood Market traditional supermarket banner, according to local reports.

FRISCO, Texas — Wal-Mart Stores is planning to convert two former Albertsons stores, one here and one in Flower Mound, to its Neighborhood Market traditional supermarket banner, according to local reports.

The Frisco location measures 64,300 square feet and the Flower Mound store is 55,000 square feet, according to the report in the Dallas Business Journal. Both stores are larger than the typical Neighborhood Market locations, which are about 42,000 square feet.

Wal-Mart currently has several Neighborhood Market locations in the greater Dallas area. It also currently has one supercenter in Frisco.
