BENTONVILLE, Ark. — Wal-Mart Stores here is asking members of its Great Value Round Table to gauge the level of sweetness, saltiness and crunch of national-brand items like Kellogg’s Raisin Bran.

Tropicana Pure Premium orange juice, Folger’s 100% Colombian coffee and Nabisco Wheat Thins are also among the products it's soliciting feedback about. They join Great Value Large Curd Cottage Cheese, Great Value Lemon Pepper Frozen Chicken and Great Value Ginger Snaps Cookies, which are also being evaluated this month.

Wal-Mart launched its Great Value Round Table in September to collect feedback from consumers about Wal-Mart’s Great Value store brand. “Join The Round Table and help keep Great Value great,” stated the retailer.

Panelists are told in advance which products will be eligible for evaluation. Although they’re not reimbursed for items purchased, 10 $500 gift cards are awarded each month to survey participants chosen at random.
