Wal-Mart to Use Food-Safety System

Wal-Mart Stores will use a food-safety measurement and check-list management system. 

BENTONVILLE, Ark. — Wal-Mart Stores here will use a food-safety measurement and check-list management system, called PAR EverServ SureCheck, from ParTech, New Hartford, N.Y.

The Web-based system manages Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Points (HACCP) and inspection programs for retail and food service organizations. It combines a mobile application, cloud-based enterprise server and a fully integrated temperature measuring device to automate the monitoring of quality risk factors while enhancing employee accuracy.
