OVERLAND PARK, Kan. — Tom Watt has been named chief executive officer and majority owner of Retail Services Inc., a full-service brokerage here.
Watt previously served as executive vice president of specialty food for RSI, a brokerage for health and wellness, general merchandising and specialty foods here. He has 30 years of experience in the grocery business with companies including McKesson Service Merchandisers, Fleming and Southwest Supermarkets.
Jack Jacobs will succeed Watt as vice president of specialty food at RSI, the company said. Dave Crandall will assume Jacobs' responsibilities as business development manager for specialty food as well as continuing as manager for Valu Merchandisers' Best Choice private label retail projects.
