DAYTON, Ohio — The start date of Dorothy Lane Market’s membership-based local food club has been pushed back due to planting delays resulting from heavy rainfall.

Shoppers who prepaid for an eight- or 16-week membership to Honestly Local were to begin receiving weekly boxes containing local food and beverages on June 9, but won’t collect the produce, bread, beer, wine and other items hand-selected by Ron Williams, the program’s creator and produce manager for DLM’s Washington Square store, until June 23.

Each box will contain a description of products, the company that provided it and recipe suggestions.
