ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Wegmans Food Markets has announced the winner of its "Products We Love" store-brand promotion. "Rhona M." from Syracuse, N.Y., won a random drawing last week.
To enter the contest, shoppers had to subscribe to Wegmans Fresh Stories blog by email, and submit a comment about which Wegmans-brand products they love and why.
"During this crazy cold winter my favorite items are Wegmans Raspberry Organic Super Yogurt & Just Picked Frozen Raspberries," Rhona wrote in her entry. "I can make myself a 'Super Smoothie' every day to get through this Syracuse winter."
The retailer received more than 1,400 entries.
"We were overwhelmed by the wide range of products you've fallen in love with over the years," Wegmans wrote on its website.
Rhona gets a gift basket filled with $150 worth of Wegmans' store-brand items, including Wegmans Basting Oil, Pumpkin Seed Oil, Thai Culinary Stock, Super Pasta and more. A $40 gift card is included for the purchase of perishable items.
