Wegmans Heads Back to School With In-Store Event

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Wegmans Food Markets will serve up easy meal ideas as part of its chainwide Back to School event scheduled for Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Samples of smoothies made from frozen fruit and Wegmans-brand yogurt will be featured in its frozen food sections, while tastes of Wegmans’ whole-grain muffins—each with a serving of whole grains—will be served in its bakery departments. Discounts will also be in effect in Wegmans’ grocery aisles, where 20 varieties of store-brand cereal, 12- to 20-ounce, will be sold for $1.99.
