ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Wegmans plans to host an event to commemorate Earth Day at its stores Saturday. The retailer will share stories about how it's helping to reduce, reuse and recycle resources throughout the store. Shoppers who bring in a bag of tightly packed Wegmans plastic bags to recycle will receive a reusable bag for free. They can also share their tips for remembering reusable bags, enter a scavenger hunt to win $25 and pick up coloring sheets, and “Build a Pizza Garden” project ...
