WOODMORE, Md. — Wegmans Food Markets was scheduled to open its second Maryland location here Sunday, a 130,00-square-foot store that will be its first in Prince George's County.
The store employs about 650 people, who have been trained at other Wegmans locations in the region, according to reports.
The new store includes a 32-seat, full-service restaurant. It is Wegmans' 76th location, and its second and final store opening for 2010, reports said.
