ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Wegmans Food Markets will promote its 40-item price freeze this Saturday with Wegmans Consistent Low Price Family Fun Fests.
“Learn more about our Top 40 Item price commitment through 2011 as you spin the Wheel of Fun and you could win a $40 gift card,” according to promotional materials.
Held chainwide from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., the events will feature balloons and temporary tattoos for kids.
Earlier this year, Wegmans announced that it would lock in the prices of 40 Wegmans-brand staple items through 2011 including boneless chicken breast, yogurt and orange juice. Milk, bread and eggs were excluded due to price volatility.
