Widow of Bozzuto's Founder Dies

FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Lillian Bozzuto, the widow of Bozzuto's founder Adam J. Bozzuto, died here Wednesday, the company said.

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Lillian Bozzuto, the widow of Bozzuto's founder Adam J. Bozzuto, died here Wednesday, the company said. Funeral arrangements are scheduled for this coming Monday at Chase Parkway Memorial-The Albini Family Funeral Home in Waterbury, Conn.

Lillian Bozzuto, 95, worked as a buyer of children's clothing at the former Engleman's Department Store in Waterbury, Conn., early in her career. Her late husband founded Bozzuto's, a regional wholesaler based in Cheshire, Conn., in 1945.

Her son, Michael A. Bozzuto, is chairman, president and chief executive officer of Bozzuto's. She is also survived by a daughter, Jayne A. Bozzuto, a sister and several nieces and nephews.
