Winn-Dixie Launches Card-Based Savings Program

Winn-Dixie Stores said it recently rolled out a savings program to help customers stretch their grocery dollars by using their Winn-Dixie Customer Reward Card.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Winn-Dixie Stores here said it recently rolled out a savings program to help customers stretch their grocery dollars by using their Winn-Dixie Customer Reward Card.

The program, called “I Saved,” offers “Buy One, Get One Free” deals, “10 for $10” items, quarterly “Good ’Til” sales, Winn-Dixie brand products, and new monthly “Locked-In Low Price” specials. Winn-Dixie rolled out the program last week using in-store signage, circular advertisements and both TV and radio campaigns.

“In these difficult economic times, our customers are looking for new ways to save at their neighborhood Winn-Dixie,” said Dan Portnoy, Winn-Dixie’s chief merchandising and marketing officer, in a statement. “The ‘I Saved’ program is one way we can offer our customers a fresh and local shopping experience with the value they deserve.”

Customers also save every time they use their card on thousands of items throughout the store.
