ABINGDON, Va. — K-VA-T Food stores here is preparing for the annual Miss Food City Pageant, scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 13 at Downtown Bristol’s Paramount Center for the Arts. The winner of the pageant will represent Food City during its sponsorship of the NASCAR Nextel Cup Food City 500 and the NASCAR Busch Series 250 races at Bristol Motor Speedway. The pageant winner will also represent Food City at various other company-related functions throughout 2008.
